Our History
Mayflower, a non-profit and community-based organisation, has been dedicated to the wellbeing of older community members for over 60 years.
Founded in 1961 by volunteers from the Collins Street Independent Church, our inaugural facility in Brighton began operations in 1963. Over the years, several other facilities have joined our group, with the most recent addition being Mayflower Edith Bendall in 2022.
Our growth and success are attributed to the combined efforts of our staff, volunteers, residents, donors, and board members. We're presently planning three new developments to continue offering top-tier care for our aging community.
